Late last year, we featured an infographic comparing the cost of the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William with the costs of average weddings. Having recently come upon another one, which compares not only the royal wedding to that of your typical commoner, but also the wedding of Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former US President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Although the main idea with royalty in the United States is its nonexistence, we cannot deny that the presidency is the nearest equivalent they have.
I am not certain that I agree with what is presented as the average US wedding cost in the graphic, or its corresponding value in the British currency. In these difficult times with the global economy, I am certain people are finding ways to cut back on the expenses involved in their weddings. What have your experiences been with wedding costs?
